Autodesk Presentation

At the autodesk meeting in the AIMM building, i only stayed for the first two presentations. Watching the first who was apart of the group, i was not as interested as i could have been due to the vast difference in use of maya. He was primarily using maya to create stills and then brought them into photoshop to enhance the effects. As of right now i do not think i will be doing much work in between photoshop and maya other than maybe making a map to apply to an object in maya. It was cool to watch as all the effects started to unfold and the image grew brighter and more interesting to look at though.

The next presenter who was from TCNJ taught about dynamics in maya and interactions between objects that have them. The bullet through the drapes with the explosion upon impact was an interesting demo to watch due to the fact that the presenter did different variations of the animation each time in addition to building it right on the spot for all us to follow and see. This was particularly interesting to me as i hope to be able to create models and animations similar to stuff like this.

Final
